Emory University is hosting a Veterans Day event with the commander of the U.S. forces in Haiti.

Lt. Gen. P.K. Keen will speak Thursday at 5:30 p.m. about the work of the U.S. military after the deadly earthquake in Haiti earlier this year. He will talk of the challenges in Haiti - from health to ethics.

The Jan. 12 earthquake killed up to 300,000 people and left millions homeless. The event is in the Boynton Auditorium at Emory's Goizueta Business School. The event is open to the public.
