Ga. Bankruptcy Rate Third-Highest In U.S.

The personal bankruptcy rate among Georgians reached the third-highest in the nation last fiscal year.

Nearly 8 out every 1,000 Georgians filed for bankruptcy in the fiscal year that ended June 30th.

The numbers are from the Adminstrative Office of the U.S. Courts.

Nevada topped the nation with nearly 11 out of 1,000 filings per person.
