Georgia State head football coach speaks to the media hours before his team held its first pre-season practice in Atlanta. (photo-Edgar Treiguts)
Two years ago the Atlanta-school announced it was launching a football program. A lot has happened in that time to get to this point--much of it directed by head football coach Bill Curry.
Curry's head coaching resume includes time at Georgia Tech, Alabama, and Kentucky. He was also a college football commentator for sports cable network ESPN, but decided to get back on the field in June of 2008 when he was named the Georgia State Panthers' first football coach.
Curry spoke to GPB's Edgar Treiguts, just hours before the Panthers' first full-squad pre-season practice in downtown Atlanta.
