ATLANTA — Governor Sonny Perdue has asked a judge to review three school board members in Warren County.
The district is slated to lose its accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools this summer.
That’s due in part to unprofessional behavior of its board members.
Perdue asked for the judge’s recommendation on whether to remove the members after Warren County residents requested he expel them.
Perdue removed four members of the Clayton County school board in 2008 after a similar hearing.
The suburban Atlanta district lost its accreditation for nine months over its squabbling, ineffective school board.
