Georgia Soldier Dies in Iraq

A Georgia soldier is dead from a non-combat related incident in Iraq.

Pfc. Jaiciae L. Pauley of Austell, Ga. was an ambulance aid and driver stationed in Kirkuk.

He joined the Army in June 2008 and was with the 2nd Brigade Combat Team based at Fort Stewart near Savannah, Ga.

A spokesperson with the Fort would not release details about Pauley’s death but says there is an open investigation into what happened.

Pfc. Pauley was 29 years old.
