If you’re one of the millions expected to come through Hartsfield Jackson International airport this weekend, officials predict smooth operations.

Clear skies around Atlanta and good weather across most of the nation means smooth sailing for the thousands of travelers passing through Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

Airport officials expect 1.7 million people over the course of the Thanksgiving weekend.

That’s the same record breaking amount as last year says airport spokesperson John Kennedy.

The only difference is that there are less flights this year, so aircrafts are a little slower; but that doesn’t impact the flow of passengers across the airport.

Kennedy says since the weather looks like it will be cooperating this holiday weekend, he predicts little to no delays through Monday.
