Currently, customers can purchase blocks of renewable energy but most of it comes from landfill gas, with up to ten percent coming from solar.
The PSC wants the utility to present details to the commission like how much it would cost and its feasibility in 30 days.
Georgia Power is a monopoly regulated by the elected body the Public Service Commission.
