Lauren County authorities started the raid at 8 a.m and were expected to continue rescuing dogs into the evening.
Pit bulls made up the bulk of the dogs found and investigators say most were starving and in poor health.
All were chained and one had lost an eye and another was missing a leg.
Authorities apparently got a tip about a possible dog fighting ring on the site. So far there are no arrests or charges.
