The 17-year-old Georgian lost in straight sets (6-2, 6-2) to her #9-seeded opponent, Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark.
In the post-match press conference, Oudin acknowledged she had a great run in New York.
"I'm a perfectionist, so losing today was a disappointment. I wanted to win, and losing isn't good enough for me. But the whole experience here that I've had is going to take me a long way."
Oudin opened the tournament ranked 70th in the world, but proceeded to upset four higher-ranked players to get to last night’s quarterfinal match.
