An Emory spokesman says the goal is to keep the students separate while they recover. All students are there on a voluntary basis, and have his or her own room in the dorm.
Emory has about 7,000 undergraduate students with an additional 6,000 graduate students on its Atlanta-campus.
State health officials say that since swine flu emerged in the spring, four people have died from the virus and 147 have been hospitalized in Georgia as of Aug. 26.
