Looking for Civility in Town Hall Meetings

The health care debate has permeated the public discourse over the past few weeks.

In many cases of these town hall-style meetings, discussions of the issues have degenerated into ugly name-calling and shouting.

Is there a way to change the approach in civil discourse?

Mark DeMoss thinks there is.

He launched the Civility Project earlier this year.

DeMoss is an Atlanta-based public relations expert and founder of the DeMoss Group.

He spoke to GPB's Edgar Treiguts.
