GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga.  —   Gwinnett County is demanding that local businesses comply with a new state immigration law.

In a letter to more than 2600 businesses, the county reminds them they must check employees’ immigration status.

This is according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

To enforce the law the county is making businesses sign a notarized affidavit before they can get their business licenses renewed.
