Twenty-three rural Georgia communities will share over ten million dollars in stimulus grants.

The money will be used for projects meant to improve economic opportunities, ranging from sewer projects to renovation work.

Officials say all projects will create permanent or temporary jobs.

The funds come from the U-S Department of Housing and Urban Development and will be released by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.
