High Expectations Follow Falcons To Training Camp

ATLANTA  —   The Atlanta Falcons open training camp tomorrow morning in Flowery Branch with high expectations. The team is coming off an 11-win season and first-round playoff appearance in 2008. And for quarterback Matt Ryan, he'll have a full season of experience to draw upon. In '08, he was named lthe NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Improvements for the team from the off-season included the acquisition of tight end Tony Gonzalez--the

10-time Pro Bowl tight end.

The Falcons open camp Saturday with practices at 8:30 and 3:45 at their Flowery Branch team complex.

They'll run 28 practices, with the first preseason game on August 15th.
