Two historic sites in Middle Georgia are getting a $5,000 boost in private grants. The Board of Trustees in Milledgeville is giving the money to the Flannery O’Connor Andalusia Foundation and the Old Capital Museum.

The funds will be used to restore the dairy farm at the former home site of writer Flannery O’Connor, as well as repair a house where state legislators stayed when Milledgeville was the state’s capital.
