ATLANTA —
Don’t give all children at summer camp the flu drug Tamiflu to try and prevent the swine flu, say US Health Officials. Atlanta-based Centers for Disease Control and Prevention offered that advice today. The virus has been spreading in camps this summer, and Tamiflu is known to quell the symptoms. But overuse of the drugs can help viruses become resistant to it, warns the CDC. And it’s not a good idea to give it to people who aren’t sick.
