MetroAtlanta Ambulance is donating two fully operational ambulances to a southwest Georgia county without access to emergency medical services.

The company will also provide dispatch and billing services at no cost to Quitman County residents.

The hope is that with the expertise, equipment and initial startup costs, Quitman County will be able to generate revenue to maintain an affordable service.
