School nurses are the subject of today's "Money Crunch" segment. This is Georgia Gazette's closer look at cuts to state spending.

Governor Sonny Perdue is proposing to cut $30 million from the state budget that currently pays for school nurses. But for those who do everything from bandaging scraped knees to giving insulin shots it seems like a bad idea.

As part of our ongoing Money Crunch series Josephine Bennett from member station WMUM in Macon, spent the morning with a school nurse at the Butler Pre-K Center in Macon to see what those cuts could look like.
