Midday Music Playlist for 09/09/2013

Concert season is back! Today Sarah mentions the following performances as tie-ins to the musical selections on Midday Music:
- the Valdosta Symphony's concert Saturday, September 14 at Valdosta State University, including the U.S. premiere of a concerto for iPad and orchestra;
- the Larchmere String Quartet's appearance at Augusta's Kroc Center Thursday, September 12, presented by the Harry Jacobs Chamber Music Society;
- a festival recital by organist David Higgs at St. John United Methodist in Augusta on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of its organ, Sunday afternoon, September 15;
- and a recital by Atlanta Symphony concertmaster David Coucheron and his pianist sister Julie Coucheron at Kennesaw State University on Monday the 16th.
