Arkansas native Jett Hitt is both a cowboy (who raises horses and leads guided rides deep into Yellowstone National Park) and a composer (with a doctorate of musical arts and experience teaching at the college level). His work "Yellowstone" evokes his favorite American landscape like a soundtrack. It's been recorded but never performed in public...until this weekend, when the Ocmulgee Symphony (ocmulgeesymphonyorchestra.com) will present it in Cochran and Macon. After the noon news, Sarah speaks with cowboy composer Jett Hitt and we listen to "Yellowstone."
