Arkansas native Jett Hitt is both a cowboy (who raises horses and leads guided rides deep into Yellowstone National Park) and a composer (with a doctorate of musical arts and experience teaching at the college level). His work "Yellowstone" evokes his favorite American landscape like a soundtrack. It's been recorded but never performed in public...until this weekend, when the Ocmulgee Symphony ( will present it in Cochran and Macon. After the noon news, Sarah speaks with cowboy composer Jett Hitt and we listen to "Yellowstone."
