A great gathering of guitarists takes place Wednesday through Sunday in Columbus, Ga., as CSU's Schwob School of Music hosts the Guitar Foundation of America's annual convention. David Russell, Paul Galbraith, David Starobin and Nigel North all perform. On GPB we start sampling their work. This morning: guitarist Starobin and lutenist North. Tomorrow: Galbraith and Russell, whose weekend concerts at the RiverCenter are open to the public.
