Lessons for Life

Lessons for Life follows the poignant and enlightening journey of a group of high school teachers, lawmakers and dignitaries to Germany, Poland and Israel as they research the Holocaust. As a result of their educational mission, they develop a mandated curriculum on the topic for New Jersey's public school system. Narrated by Charles Osgood (CBS News), Lessons for Life features extraordinary and thought-provoking interviews from experts in the field of Holocaust education, including 1986 Nobel Peace Prize winner Elie Wiesel, former governor of New Jersey Christine Todd Whitman, and Franklin Littell - considered by many to be the "father of Holocaust education."
