Legends of Jazz with Ramsey Lewis marks the return of jazz to network television for the first time in 40 years. The 13-part series features intimate conversations with and performances by some of the world's leading musicians. Grammy® award-winning composer/pianist Ramsey Lewis hosts the series. Each episode of Legends of Jazz focuses on a particular genre or instrument related to jazz, ranging from "The Golden Horns," with trumpet legend Clark Terry and younger stars Chris Botti and Roy Hargrove, to “American Songbook” with vocalist Jane Monheit and guitarist/vocalist John Pizzarelli, to “Roots: The Blues” with Grammy® award-winning contemporary blues artists Robert Cray and Keb’ Mo’. Additional guests on the star-studded series include Tony Bennett, Chick Corea, Al Jarreau, Dave Brubeck, Dr. Billy Taylor, David Sanborn, Phil Woods, Pat Metheny, George Duke, Marcus Miller and many more.
