This is the 31st legislative day of the Georgia General Assembly.

There was final passage today of the FY 2012 Amended Budget. The "little" budget will reflect the announcement by Governor Nathan Deal's office that February revenues were above estimates.

A bill allowing local governments to establish a registry for vacant or foreclosed properties clears the Senate. Disagreement over exactly what constitutes vacant property caused healthy debate.
