This is the 21st legislative day of the Georgia general assembly.

Tonight on Primetime Lawmakers, big news on the job creation front; Governor Nathan Deal announces a new caterpillar facility near Athens which could bring 1400 new jobs.

There was controversial debate over the creation of the city of Ashford in DeKalb County; both those for and against say it's a question of local control.

New life for dead logs? The Senate passes a measure allowing private companies to bid to remove old, sunken logs from Georgia’s riverbeds. It could be a revenue generator, but environmental groups have concerns.

It's the end of the legislative week; we are joined onset for some of the best political analysis on the air by Buddy Darden, a former state legislator and congressman and Chuck Clay, a former state Senator and senior partner at Brock clay. We have a little fun tonight.
