There is no video for this file.

Today is the third legislative day of the 2012 session. We will bring you remarks Governor Nathan Deal made about education funding that have been making quite a stir.

We will bring you extended reaction to the Governor’s State of the State speech.

The Governor’s budget was released today. The 19.2 billion dollar spending bill also eliminates 154 state jobs.

We are joined by Tom Crawford, Editor of the Georgia Report for in-depth analysis on what Governor Deal had to say.

A major theme of the Governor’s address last night was judicial reform and the creation of so-called drug courts; we are joined by Representative Jay Neal to discuss what the Governor says is a long-term money saving initiative.

You can watch Prime Time Lawmakers every night the Georgia General Assembly is in session at 7p.m. on Georgia Public Broadcasting. The program re-airs the next morning at 5:30 am.
