The House today decided to table a bill that would require driver’s license exams be given in English-only following the passage of an amendment that effectively stripped the bill. Exams can currently be taken in 14 languages. Proponents of the measure cite public safety concerns, while opponents say the bill sends the wrong message to foreign business.

Also, the House version of the Sunday Sales Bill cleared its committee.
Like its Senate counterpart, HB 69 allows local communities to approve Sunday Sales by referendum.

We go in-depth on Pre- K Education on set with education advocates Representative Judy Manning and Representative Stephanie Stuckey Benfield.
