Georgia is one step closer to allowing Sunday alcohol sales.
The bill allowing local governments to hold referendums on Sunday sales easily passed its senate committee today. No one spoke in opposition.
Senate Bill 10 could be taken up by the full senate as early as next week.

Former legislator and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed paid a friendly visit to the Capitol today. He told legislators cooperation is needed to keep Georgia competitive.

We also talk transportation on set with Representative Jay Roberts, Chairman of the House Transportation Committee, and Department of Transportation Commissioner Vance C. Smith.
