House, and any Senate legislation that hasn't passed the Senate, will
be dead for this session. It's a hectic day and will continue to be

Former President and Nobel Laureate Jimmy Carter addressed a
special joint session of the Georgia General Assembly today. Carter
received the 2002 Nobel Peace Prize for "for his decades of untiring
effort to find peaceful solutions to international conflicts, to
advance democracy and human rights, and to promote economic and social
