New State Senate District Map. This afternoon Senate Majority
Leader Tom Price announced that a new Senate redistricting map is
ready. See what the new maps looks like and find out what Senator Price
has to say about it.

The Senate approves a resolution supporting Governor Perdue's case
against Attorney General Thurbert Baker. After much debate this
morning, the Senate approved Senate Resolution 85 by a vote of 31 to 24. Nwandi Lawson has the highlights from the deliberations.

Representative Tyrone Brooks has an unusual strategy to fight Governor Perdue's flag referendum.
He plans to ask a Senate colleague to offer a Senate version of a bill
that has already been offered in the house. Susan Hoffman has the
details on Representative Brooks' plan.

Indigent Defense. This morning at a breakfast for the
Indigent Defense Council, Governor Perdue once again recognized
Georgia's funding problems for its indigent defense program. David
Zelski reports.

Legislators rallied to put an end to domestic violence this afternoon at a press conference hosted by the Georgia Commission on Family Violence.
Legislation pertaining to child endangerment and domestic violence were
topics of discussion. Elizabeth Cowart was there and has more on what
the abuse prevention advocates had to say.
