It is an historic day in Georgia. Governor Sonny Perdue is inaugurated at Philips Arena as the first Republican
Governor of Georgia in 130 years. The House of Representatives votes to elect Terry Coleman, the first
new Speaker of the House in a quarter of a century. In the Georgia State Senate, the new Republican majority
takes control, changes the rules and elects Senator Eric Johnson President Pro Tempore- a post with new power.

We'll have all the highlights of these changes, and the complete inaugural addresses of Governor Perdue and Lt. Governor Taylor
tonight on Lawmakers. Join hosts Gerald Bryant and Susan Hoffman for a special one hour premiere of the
33rd Season of GPTV's coverage of the Georgia General Assembly.
