La Plaza

La Plaza is a passport into Latino communities, from South and Central America to Caribbean nations and local immigrant populations. The series uses many formats to explore Latino life — original short-form documentaries, fictional films, panel discussions on topical matters, and musical and dance performances. The new season features six episodes with noted author and critic Ilan Stavans, as well as in-depth discussions with leading thinkers from across Latino communities, including an opera composer, a filmmaker, a scientist and a union leader.
