It's Still My Life opens at Camp Hardgrove in Warm Springs, Georgia, the only camp in the Southeast for adults with traumatic brain injury. Sponsored by the Brain Injury Association of Georgia, Camp Hardgrove offers two camp sessions annually for adult brain injury survivors and their caregivers and one session for youth.
"At camp, everybody knows how everybody is alike and how they are different, and everybody respects that and accepts people exactly the way they are,” says Cindi Johnson, a camp counselor and rehabilitation therapist.
