Jarred Vallbracht, Sarosh Shahbuddin, Michael Stone, Bradley Keller, and David Burke invented DEfT Pad , which is a touchscreen device giving guitarists the functionality of a distortion pedal. Jarred is from Covington, Georgia, and he studied Electrical Engineering. Sarosh is from Rock Hill, South Carolina, and he also studied Electrical Engineering. Michael is from Augusta, Georgia, and he studied Electrical Engineering. Bradley is from Gainsville, Georgia, and he studied Electrical Engineering as well. David is from Canton, Georgia, and he studied Computer Engineering.

Bradley says, "If we win The InVenture Prize, we'll get help putting our product in the hands of guitarists."

David says, "The InVenture Prize is helping us take a cool course project and turn it into a real product."
