This contemporary adaptation of Handel’s Messiah blends classical music with classic rock. Keith Lockhart conducts members of the Boston Pops. Soloists La Chanze (Tony Award-winning vocalist, The Color Purple), J. Robert Spencer (Tony-nominated performer, Jersey Boys) and MiG Ayesa (CBS' "Rock Star: INXS"), backed by a rock band, adult choir and children’s choir, present a modern version of the famous oratorio.
