
Health Inequities – Health disparities between whites and minorities in Georgia
have been the status quo for a long time but a new county-by-county health "report card" provides information that can help to change that. Dr. Rhonda Medows, Commissioner, Department of Community Health and Dr. George Rust, Interim Director of the National Center for Primary Care at theMorehouse School of Medicine join us to discuss the report’s highlights and action plans.

Historic Preservation – In the 2008 session, the Georgia Legislature passed a bill that would increase tax incentives for renovating historical homes and buildings. What are the pros and cons of this legislation? And how does Georgia compare with other states when it comes to preserving our history? Ray Christman, Interim Director of the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation joins us to answer these questions and more.
