Child Internet Safety – The internet is a wonderful tool for entertainment and education for all ages, but it also presents some very real dangers to children. From child molesters, who use the internet to find their victims, to gangs who now recruit members online, there are sites and activities from which children need to be protected. What can parents and teachers do? Joining us to discuss the issues and answers are Sue Dowling, a forensic computer specialist who is the GBI’s Children’s Internet Safety Coordinator, and Dara O’Neil, an internet specialist with the Georgia Department of Education.

That changed in July 2007, when the Atlanta-based CDC released studies linking the condition to genetic mutations and abnormalities in gene expression. Joining us to discuss the latest research is Dr. William Reeves, Director of the CDC’s, Chronic Viral Diseases Branch.
Next week on Georgia Weekly: A Legislative Review with GPB’s Nwandi Lawson, Tom Crawford of Capitolimpact.com and Jim Wooten of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
