Have Georgia’s Transportation Challenges finally reached a critical mass where something just has to be done? Possibly. In recent weeks a coalition of many groups and agencies has been discussing the issues and options and some solid plans are beginning to emerge. Will it be private roads? Or commuter rail? Or investment in public transit? Here to discuss various scenarios are Steve Stancil, Executive Director of GRTA, Jerry Griffin, Executive Director of the Association County Commissioners of Georgia and Tad Leithead, Chair of the ARC Transportation and Air Quality Committee.

Next week on Georgia Weekly: An analysis of the Grady Hospital crisis from an expert, Jim Gardner, President and CEO, Northeast Georgia Health System, who has turned around his own hospital in North Georgia. Also – what should the future hold for Jekyll Island? We’ll hear from both sides of the issue.
