Education Funding: After many months of meetings and public input, a task force made up of business leaders, educators, concerned citizens and other interested parties is ready to report on its recommendations for improvements to the state's education funding formula. Two members of the Task Force, Holly Robinson, of the Georgia Public Policy Foundation, and Dean Alford, Chair of the Governor's Education Finance Task Force, join us to discuss their findings.
Tommy Irvin has been Georgia's Agriculture Commissioner since 1969, making him the longest serving statewide official in Georgia. It's a position that presents ever-more complicated challenges.
