Georgia's Aging Workforce – The years ahead could be a boom time for workers over 55 because there will not be enough younger workers to replace them. This is good news for the many boomers who have not saved enough for retirement, but employers will nevertheless have to find creative ways to keep these older workers on board. Joining us to discuss these issues, which were reported in a new study by the AARP, the Georgia Budget and Policy Institute and the Georgia Department of Labor, are Ken Mitchell, State Director for the AARP, Georgia, and Sarah Beth Gehl, Deputy Director of the Georgia Budget and Policy Institute.

Also this week – Can chess help disadvantaged young people navigate the pitfalls of life? Former Alabama State Trooper turned motivational speaker Orrin Hudson has shown that it can. He joins us to talk about his work.
