The General Assembly convenes next week. Among the hot issues for this session are a tax break for seniors, the minimum wage, a constitutional amendment on voter ID and a law banning the use of mobile phones while driving. Joining us for a legislative preview are Charles Richardson of The Macon Telegraph, Jim Galloway of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and Emily Kopp of GPB.

Next week on Georgia Weekly: Joshua's Law – what will it mean for teen drivers and their parents? Also, The Race Beat: The Press, the Civil Rights Struggle, and The Awakening of a Nation. Author Hank Klibanoff will join us to discuss his new book.
