The Middle East - As conflicts continue to emerge in the Middle East, we turn for an analysis of the situation to John H. Kelly, Ambassador-in-Residence at Georgia Tech's Sam Nunn School of International Affairs. Kelly is a former Ambassador to Lebanon and Finland and former Assistant Secretary of State for the Near East and South Asia.

Also this week: - Fragile X Syndrome is the leading cause of inherited mental retardation and the most common known cause of autism. Fragile X refers to changes in the FMRI gene, which was discovered in 1991 by an international team of scientists, led by Dr. Stephen Warren. Emory University is now home to the largest Fragile X research center in the country. Dr. Stephen Warren, William P.Timmie Professor and Chairman of the Department of Human Genetics at the Emory University School of Medicine and Stephanie Sherman, Director of the Genetics and Molecular Biology graduate program at Emory University join us to discuss the causes of Fragile X and new treatments on the horizon.
