The ethical and legal challenges of modern medicine – Designer babies? Some say they could be just a few generations away, so what legal issues must be considered? And when it comes to end of life choices, just how far should we be able to go medically and morally? To help us answer these questions and more, we turn to Charity Scott, Director of Georgia State Law School's Center for Law, Health and Society and Roberta Berry, Director of Georgia Tech's Law, Science and Technology Program.

The South in the 20th Century – What has changed in the south since the early 1900's? What hasn't? And has the South as a distinct region disappeared? These questions were posed to historians, sociologists, political scientists and other experts and their essays have been compiled in a new book, The American South in the Twentieth Century. Joining us to discuss the highlights are one of the book's editors, Andy Ambrose, Senior Vice President of the Atlanta History Center, and one of the book's contributors, Dana White, Professor of Liberal Arts at Emory University.
