 Visit the Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites website to find out more about the Fort King George Historic Site in Darien. This pre-colonial fort reconstruction is a great family experience. Be sure and check out their special events! The Traveler team visited during "The Fort by Candlelight Tour." This year that special event is Friday, November 10 from 6-9pm.
 You can find out all about the Fort Frederica National Monument on St. Simon's at this official National Park Service website.
