    A member of the Georgia Women of Achievement, Nina Anderson Pape was the founder of the progressive Pape School in Savannah, a highly respected college preparatory schools and one of the first schools in Georgia to add kindergarten to its regular education program. In the early part of the 20th Century, the school set a standard for the education of girls and challenged teenagers to meet academic standards normally expected of boys.
