Field Trip: William Bremen Jewish Heritage Museum

Scheduled tours can be setup with this museum (note below) , but you can also see a core exhibit that provides insight into the historical beginnings of Jewish settlers in Atlanta. That exhibit is entitled, "Creating Community: The Jews of Atlanta from 1845 to the Present." At this museum you can learn about Jacobs Pharmacy and the start of Coca-Cola, the Fulton Cotton Mill, the role of Jews in Atlanta in the Civil Rights movement, Jewish immigrants, and 20th century Georgia Jews who have made significant contributions to culture. There is a wealth of primary source materials here about the Leo Frank case.
