Field Trip: Stephen C. Foster State Park
There are several entrances to the Okefenokee--this one, on the western side, is one of the most intriguing. Bring a friend and rent a canoe; paddle amongst white ibises, herons, and alligators (don't worry, the alligators are pretty shy). A beautiful experience for those with an adventurous spirit!
