If learning about the history of Georgia is your kind of thing, then going to the Historic Roswell Mill would be your kind of place. Take a tour of the actual site where General William T. Sherman ordered approximately 400 Roswell Mill workers, mostly women, to be arrested as traitors and shipped as prisoners to the North with their children. While visiting this historic district you can see the mill still standing today that was built in 1882.
