Teacher Alternative Preparation Program Webcast
Produced in collaboration with the Georgia Professional Standards Commission, the Teacher Alternative Preparation Program webcast provides information and materials for beginning teachers who are making the transition from business and industry to the classroom. While viewing the webcast, you will find real life experiences from educators who have already made the shift. Materials are divided into three modules and are not sequential; thus, you may begin with any of the modules.

To properly view Webcasts, your computer must have Internet Explorer 6 and Windows Media Player 9 installed.
- Please make sure your pop-up blocker is disabled so you can access the webcasts.
- At this time, Netscape and other browsers are NOT supported by the webcasting software.
Participants using a browser other than Internet Explorer 6 may experience unusual playback or loss of functionality.
- Windows Media Player is the only format which is currently being webcast.
Other media players are not compatible with our webcasts.
Earlier versions of Windows Media Player may result in unusual playback.

Click on the icon above to download the installation file. Save the file to your desktop, then view your desktop and double-click the "ie6_install.exe" file. This will create an "ie6_install" folder on your desktop. Open the folder and double-click on "ie6setup.exe" to install Internet Explorer 6.
Click on the icon above to download the installation file. Save the file to your desktop, then view your desktop and double-click the "MPSetup.exe" file to install Windows Media Player 9.
