Lutzenkirchen's play becomes instant classic

Philip Lutzenkirchen, a senior tight end for Lassiter, made the national highlight reels after an incredible play against Centennial last Friday in the Score Atlanta/GPB Game of the Week. On a pass from quarterback Hutson Mason that would have sailed out of the back of the end zone, Lutzenkirchen leaped, caught the ball, and quickly pitched it to Reid Handler before coming down out of bounds. Handler caught the ball for a touchdown. The play made SportsCenter’s Top Plays on Monday.
